نفسيتي تعبانة صارلها فترة ، من شغلي ، من انني مش قادرة اوصل للي بدي اياه و منه
امبارح كنت مبسوطة ، يمكن بس امبارح عشان كل اشي كان حوالي عم بزبط الا هو
بس اليوم بكيت ، بكيت كتير ، لاتي بلشت اوصل لمرحلة بداية النهاية ، الموضوع مش عم بتحرك من مكانه ، صارله سنة او يمكن اكتر و انا بقول بكرة بتنحل ، بكرة بنلاقي طريقة ، بس اجا بكرة و بعده و اسبوع و شهر و سنة و ما اتطور اشي ، كل اشي لسا على حاله و عم برجع لورا
لاول مرة بحط الحق عالظروف ، اهه لولا الظروف كان عالقليلة عرفت وين الله حاططني بدال ما انا على طول حاسة اني ضايعة !
لأول مرة بحس انه عملت كل اللي علي و اللي بقدر اعطيه بس ربنا ما عم ببارك الموضوع ، طب والله نيتي صافية و ما بدي الا الخير كل الخير بس ليش هيك ؟ تعبت و انا لسا مش فاهمة ليش هيك !!
صار الموضوع عندي ممل ، طب طول ما احنا بعاد و وقفنا تفكير جدي فيه ، شو رح يصير الخطوة الجاي ؟ خلص خلصت على هيك ؟ نهاية مفتوحة ؟

2011 was trying to be good !

Soo i was thinking this morning about my recent posts , they are all pessimistic and bad !! i thought why wouldn't write about good things that happened in 2011 either personal or general .
hmm let's see (hardly though but I'll try )

Starting from January , i remember i went to Dubai for a weekend , didn't learn much in that month , aaa i did ! i learned about the Tunisian population that they are strong , not really quite and calm as everyone else thought !

February was BAAAAADDD , oops i forgot that i had to mention good stuff !!! ok let me think , mm aa i started to prepare for my papers to start my Master's degree (which i didn't start yet ) !! , Same month was the Egyptian revolution , these people made us cry and laugh at the same time , with spirit and blood !

March , ok fine nothing special !

April , nothing much either , i failed my IELTS test - bad again !! -

May , YES it was my first time in New york , and first time ever to travel all alone knowing no one in a country , yes am crazy and i would do such things , it was amazing , i never knew i would be that brave to tour in a country without being scared , i loved the states in that month , touring around in NY , Chicago and Texas with my sister and the nephews ;)

June ,CRAP !

July , mmm ok , i was head hunted for a project to do in my company for 3 months (which i really appreciated it ! ) , attended one of my best friend's wedding , and relaxed in Amman for a week :)

August - the holy month , it was amazing , i guess i never had such greatness in my whole life, and it was my first time to go taraweeh in a mosque with dad and lailet el-qader with my neighbors !

September was a mix and match of good , and evil things :s , been to Egypt for eid , which was really great (live the "ya leilet el-eid anisteena" spirit by all means !!! )

October was even worse than June !! lost 3 friends in one week (FIGHT) , i finished my LOVELY project , and back to my boring work !

November was ok , the best of it that i was in London for one week , first time to be in that side of the world , corrected my info about UK , i thought it will be dead or not active - totally the opposite !!

December wasn't that bad , i hosted my neighbor coming from Jordan here in Qatar .,i felt optimistic to live in this place and i loved it more .

so here was my horrible year in 12 points , so i must say thanks god for the good things that occured and may the bad things pass fast so i wouldn't remember any !!

اجا علي بالي من كم يوم اكتب ، جبت دفتر بس خليته فاضي ، ما بعرف لايمتى رح يضل فاضي ، بس قلت بدي اجرب تويتر
حسيت انه مكاني مش كتير صح هناك ، 114 حرف ما بكفوا لبنت بتحب الحكي زيي ، و ما بهمني كتير انه حدا من الناس اللي بعرفها بالحقيقة تعرف كل اسراري
كتبت هون اليوم لأني مخنوقة، بطلت عارفة لمين اشكي ، مش فارقة مين يقرأني هون ولا فاقة حدا يهديني ، بس يمكن لما تفرج ارجع اقرا و احمد ربي دائما و ابدا على كل اشي اعطاني اياه
مش عارفة عن مين اكتب ؟؟ كنت دايما احكيلكم عنه ، و خلصت موضوعه هون ،
اجا بعده حدا تاني و وقفت كتابة لانه زهقت اكتب عنهم و اشرككم اخبارهم ، حكتلي صاحبة الي عمرها 28 سنة اتزوجت جديد قالتلي ( بكرة ببطل عندك طاقة لاشي ولا نفس )
شكله اجا بكرة اسرع من اليوم و شكله طاقتي خلصت من زمان
شو بدي احكي كمان ؟ احكيلكم عن اني صار عمري 26 و بلشت قصص العرسان و مشاكلهم ؟
احكيلكم انه صار عمري 26 و انا بشغلي لساتني مكاني ؟
احكيلكم عنه و اديش غير فيي اشياء و اديش حياتي حتى مع اهلي تغيرت ؟
احكيلكم عنها ، اديش عم بتدايقني كل يوم و اديش مش قادرة احكي عنها لحدا لانها هي المفروض اكتر وحدة تسمعني !!!
احكيلكم عن 2011 اديش كانت غريبة ؟ و سخيفة ؟ و ما رح يمرء سنة متلها ؟

i was discussing it with some friends on fb , they said that what he did goes under "suicide" and we shouldn't be proud of that in our religion , i told them that here we are proud of the idea itself what made to the Arab world

Dissapointment !!!

Today and after 2 weeks of waiting , i got results of my IEALTS test , for those who dont know what it is , it's just likfe TOFEL or simply an english test when you apply for universities , i was supposed to score in 4 sections (reading ,writing , listening and speaking ) 6.5 at least in each section , but unfortunalty i missed one of them and got overall 6 !! ya allah it was such a day ...

At work i got the news late , so i left with a sad look on my face but no one really noticed , they thought it's weekend probably and am too tired to talk or do anything , on my blackberry didnt really know what to write i ended up with "قل لن يصيبنا الا ما كتب الله لنا " , cause i really blv in such time , phrases of Quran says it the best !

what made the situation worse , is that i wanted to tell my friend about it , he was also dissapointed since yesterday and doesnt want to talk , so he only said "Mabrook" ,so i felt more sad cause he couldnt help and made things WORSE !

at home mom and dad were really supportive and didnt show me any signs of "Wow that a big deal" ,it's just that u can repeat it w khlisna !

and now my stomache hurts cause i was mad the whole day :((

i hope tomorrow will be better inshallah

It's been ages since i last wrote here , i went through my drafts and found this ,it was about a vacation to Amman 2 years 6 months a 2 days ago to be exact !! sometimes i wish i still have this excitment to Amman before visiting any other country but now i say

Dear Amman , with all my respect , you suck !

Guess who's coming to enjoy a great week of ramadan in beloved AMMAN ,yes its meeee yaaay and i cant belive it , ok u may all think that its not worth the 3ajga am doing for only one week , but come on its amman ppl , and am spending a full ramadani week with friends and family !!!

Any plans ? no not yet , since always my plans "taboo2 bil-fashal" so i prefer not to do any and just wait till i get the proposals of outings from my great friends ..

So - September 11th will be the day (i know wut u are all thinking ) - 6 days till i'll be in my lovely house , great garden and beloved city.

اليوم خطر على بالي ارجع اقرا بوست قديم ، مش عارفة بظن عمره سنة تقريبا ، كان أحمد اخو حازم توفى بوقتها و انا حكيت معه علشان اطمن على صاحبنا ، كان يومها حسب ما بتذكر (و قبل ما اقرا البوست) احككيله اشتقتلك أد الدنيا

مع انه كان بوقتها في حدا تاني كان بحاول يفوت بحياتي ، عمري ما حكيت عنه هون ، يمكن لانه عمري ما تخيلت اوصل لهاي المرحلة

تخيلوا انه خلال اقل من سنة يصير معنا احداث كتيرة كان ممكن تخلص باقل من شهر او يمكن اسبوع او حتي 24 ساعة

اجا عبالي افضفض ، و انا دايما بحب احكي كل اشي ، انا عبارة عن كتاب مقروء ، ببين علي الزعل على طول لاني دايما بضحك ، مع اني كمان دايما بشكي بس برضى بسرعة

اليوم بطلت قادرة اشكي ، حتى لحالي ، مش عارفة شو عم بصير الصراحة ، مش عارفة ليش كل اشي عم بتلخبط بدقيقة مع انه بكون حاسة انه اموري ما في احسن منها من قبل 5 دقايق بس

زهقت من الشكوى و من البكى ، زهقت من كترة الاحداث اللي بتصير معي و في اسرع ما يكون !!دايما عم بفتش على اشي جديد بس انا نفسي مش عارفة شو هو

"تعبت من "يللا ما بدنا نفرح فيكي" ؟؟ "يللا ما في حواليكي حدا " أو أهبل تعليق "يللا شديلنا حيلك

لا في حدا و راح من ورا نصيحة كل حدا و أي حدا عم بتدخل بحياتي ، من ورا كل حدا عملي اكتئاب بس مجرد انه نفسي اشكي ، كان في حدا عمري ما حكيت عنه لانه المثل بقول "داري على شمعتك تقيد" و انا شمعتي طفت من قيل ما تقيد و لسة ما كمل الموضوع السنة

اليوم انا ضعيفة و اضعف من اني حتى اكمل كتابة لأني بطلت قادرة احدد من وين المشكلة و كيف اكمل

Am I Ready Yet ?!

This week was the weirdest ! i never liked to talk alot about such issues specially here but it's ust a feminine general topic which is "Al-3arees" !!!

Am the youngest in my family , and as i mentioned in my previous post , it's been 3 years for me living in Qatar with my parents , for me 3ersan is kind of monqarideen :D which something am happy with , cause when i hear the girls stories about meeting a new person every once in a while and how you should be nice and look cute every time , it's really sooo not me !!!

so this week i got 3 at the same time !!! can u believe it , from nothing to 3 , it's kinda funny !! 2 saw me and they asked to see me again , and one is my friend's friend and she saw that we match !!

it's something new for me , at the beginning i laughed dunno why but then i thought , Am i ready ? to handle such responsibilities , am i ready to commit ?! am a bit 3aneedeh and spoiled so can i handle the idea of someone tells me dont do this and do that ?? iffft

how u know when u will be ready ?!

Three Years !

It's been a long time since i last wrote here ,Vacation Ramadan and Eid , lot's of action , lot's of ups and downs but at the end , el-7amdellah all is good :)

so today is September 16th 2010 , 3 years ago i came back from Jordan to settle in Qatar for good , 3 years back i used to cry every now and then because i miss my friends and my normal life.

i didnt know back then that i will reach the level of "not into"Amman anymore , of loving travelling around more than anything else , and of having a multinational friends which widen my knowledge.

It's also been three years since my sister got married and am home alone living with mom and dad , i thought it will be difficult , but realized that i have the greatest old friend (mom ) and the perfect supporter at all my depression times (dad).

3 good years and waiting for the best to come :)

Cairo and the wedding arrangments ..

Here i am again , blogging from Cairo this time , motaz's (the bride's brother) room , a couple of days ago it was one of my great and best friend's wedding , Sally was amazing that day , the dress the wedding the groom everything was simply cute and great .

i felt that am really a bridemaid for sally , i finished up from my saloon and went to pick her up to go to the wedding place so she can have shots before the wedding outdoor , it was a hectic day but yet amazing .

back to Cairo's wedding (Sara) today is the Henna , i arrived yesterday , got my bridemaid dress done and ready to go , am really excited , since it's something new and there's a singer coming kaman for one hour (Mahmoud esseily) !! so let the party begin :)

Blogging From the Airport .

yes yes am heading to Amman , blogging from dubai airport since am flying "fly Dubai" , the flight is hectic , Doha - Dubai @ 3:30 AM , then tranist in Dubai airport 5 hours , yup till 10:15 ,then off to Amman to arrive at 12:30 .

in doha airport i started reading a new book , (didnt finish nessyane.com yet) but i found this at home and i thought let's give it a try , my book is called "Chicago" but the arabic version for "3ala2 al-aswani " - the writer of Yaqoubian Buildings. i liked his way of writing since then and how he goes through details , i adore details.

so here i am in Dubai airport , terminal 2 , which means BORING to death , it's 6:30 UAE time which means 4 hours left ... !!! ifffffffffffffff.

I have a feeling that this summer is going to be good , actually great i have one of my best friend's wedding in Jordan and another in Egypt , where i will be the bridemaid :D and yes am heading again to Cairo this summer but a short one this time only 4 days to witness the first egyption wedding in my life .. :)

EXCITMENT !!

جبت معاي من مصر كتاب أحلام اكيد معظمكم قارئينوا او عالقليلة سامعين عنه
وقت اشتريته كنت بسيتي ستارز مع صديق مصري قام مسك الكتاب و صار يحكي " ازاي يعني يحظر بيعه للرجال ؟ طب انا عايز اقراه" قلتله "يا سيدي اتفضل."

فتح اول صفحة و قرا" احبيه كما لم تحب امرأة و انسيه كما ينسى الرجال" قاللي "ايه دا يا لطيف يعني احنا ما بنعرفش نحب ؟ " قلتله "يمكن مش متل المراة بس اكيد انتوا بتنسوا اسرع مننا"

عنجد هالسؤال دايما نفسي اسأله ، كيف يعني بين يوم و ليلة ببطل يرد الأخ عالتلفون و هو لسة امبارح مش عارف ينام غير على صوت حبيبته !

كيف بكون مشتائلها كتير و فجأة بصير دايما مشغول و مش فاضي يرد !!

القصص اللي كاتبة عنها احلام بتدايق كتير ، عم بقرأ الكتاب كل فترة و فترة ، و ما بنكر انه اكتر من مرة دمعت و بكيت ، لأنه جد بدايق ، تخيلت حالي مكانهن (لا سمح الله) كان اكيد انجنيت !!

!!!لأول مرة بحياتي بعمل اشي و انا مش كتير مقتنعة في

...دبي عمري ما اقتنعت اروحها ، لأني اصلا عايشة بدولة خليجية و مش حاسة في فرق ، بالذات انه اهلي ما شجعوني

اتفقنا انا و سمر نروح مع بعض بما انه هي اخوها ساكن هناك و بدها تغير جو ، ما بدي احكيلكم هن دبي اد ما بدي احكي عن مغامراتنا مع !!! بعض

...من قصص الشوبينج الفاشل ، لقصص المترو اللي هلك من شوفتنا يوميا ابو 3-4 مرات من قصصي اللي وجعتلها راسها فيها

كانت رحلة قصيرة ، 4 أيام ، بس جد ما بنتسوا

بالنسبة لدبي كبلد كانت عادية لالي يمكن لاني انا بحب الطبيعة و شفتها بالمغرب و لبنان ، او حياة العجقة و الاثار اللي شفتها بمصر خلتني اكره الحياة الاصطناعية اللي بدبي

قبل ما اروح سمر حكتلي كلمة ما رح انساها ابدا

أنا من الناس اللي بعشق البكى ، كتير بحب ابكي و اي اشي بصير بزكرني بموقف قديم لازم افرط عياط !!!
الغريب بالموضوع كمان اني كتير عصبية و بصرخ عندما يلزم الأمرو لما ييجي اشي لازم ابكي عليه بمسك حالي بطريقة عجيبة و العكس

اللي خلاني اكتب الموضوع انه اليوم الصبح كنت طالعة مع صحباتي ، وحدة منهم عرسها بشهر 7 و كلنا اعدنا نحكي شو بدنا نعمل بالعرس و شو بدنا نلبس ، في وحدة معنا بريطانية بتحكي :" انا بالعادة ببكي بالأعراس " فأناا بقلها "لأ بس ما تبكي قدامي" و صرنا نضحك ، بعد بشوي سرحت و تخيلت حالي جد بالعرس و بلشت ادمع !!! يا الله

بس رحت عالبيت عم بحكي لحدا من اصحابي القصة ، قاللي انتي تبكي ما بصدق ، و على اشي سخيف !! مستحيل !! و أقوله والله هيك صار ، قاللي نفسي اشوفك مش ، هو دايما شوفني يا بضحك يا معصبة :)

What should i write ?!

I wanted to write a post , but i have no idea what exactly i have to write about !

Shall i tell you about egypt and how i loved this country and become more attached to it whenever i go.

Shall i tell you about a friend who we chat on msn during all the working day and all night and now am addicted to her!

Shall i tell you about the sad situation of our parents and families in Gaza and wondering till when they will keep on suffering ?

Shall i tell about a person who helped me to get over someone and now i have to get over him ! (its not easy )

Shall i tell you about the offer i rejected with a double salary of my current one because our arabic culture . ( i dont regret it though !)

Shall i tell you about my great company which keeps on surprising us with staff meetings and tranings and good bonuses everyone in a while.

Shall i tell you about how am not missing amman anymore ! and not really excited about the summer vacation !

Shall i tell you about the weddings i will attend in summer and how mom wishes everyday to see me in their lace sometimes near !

what else shall i tell you more about ?

i believe that god always sends the right people in the right timing , even on the spot u don't realize it , but you will know it later ..

For Sally who grabbed the positive person inside me that I've always been hiding and let me believe more in myself and my powers .

For Fathy,Giri and Kanchana when i had the worst place ever to stay in they made it the best , turned my anger into laugher and make fun of everything not funny !

For Ibraheem who made me stronger in the time i was insisting to be weak , who gave me a new experience i never asked for.

For Samar , who listened to me everyday , who killed herself million times a day for my stupid behaviors who gave me a full support no matter what !

For Mostafa who made it different , who came in the most right timing but yet left in the wrong one too early !

For Sharaf , who met me randomly in the time i needed someone to wait with but yet turned out to be an unforgettable friend.

For Luisa who knew that i can make it , who pushed me even in the time i really didn't care to proceed.

FOR my supportive and great parents , without them i wouldn't be active socially and enlarge my knowledge by travelling around.

for the people i didn't mention but made a difference , maybe small but you definitely made a change.

for all the friends i didn't meet and will meet soon :)

رجعت من مصر قبل يومين ، كانت رحلة لطيفة ، تغيير جو عالاخر ، هالمرّة شفت اشياء جديدة غير عن السنة الماضية و طلعت مع ناس جداد ، جربت حسن الضيافة المصرية جدولي كان فاضي ملان !!

كيف يعني ؟؟ يعني كنت قاعدة بالاوتيل بستنا ناس مثلا و للاسف هناك الواعيد مضروبة رسمي !! يعني توعد حدا الساعة 12 يوصلك 2 !! عادي جدا ، الله يخليلي القهوة اللي جمب الاوتيل و شرف (صيق اردني تعرفت عليه بالصدفة البحتة) !!!

مش عارفة من وين بدي ابدا و عن شو لازم احكي ، خليني اقلكم عن حسن الضيافة المصرية بالاول:
هادا مرة رحنا انا و صاحبة مصرية (تعرفت عليها بالمغرب ) رحنا على الاسكنرية ، و التقينا هناك بحدا من اصحابها و عزمنا عالغدا و انبسطنا مع بعض كتير ، تاني يوم بوصلني تلفون من رقم غريب (انا نزلت رقم مصري) المهم ، كيفك دانا ؟ انا رانية مرت محمد اللي شفتيه امبارح ، ايوة تفضلي ؟؟ قالتلي محمد حكالي عنك كتير و قلت لازم اشوفك ، انا شاكنة جمت اوتيلك و اي وقت احكيني باخدك بطلعك !!!

انا مش مستوعبة لهلا انه رجعت حكيت معها و طلعنا و اخدتني عالمساجد و مجمع الديان ، جد رانية يسلموا ايديكي !!

في شب ، من اصحاب صاحبتي ، كنا انا و اياه صحبة و ما قصّر معي بالمرة، في مرة عصبت منه و صرخت عليه و بعدها ما رجع حكا او رد علّي !!!

يمكن ما كان لازم اصرخ و اعرف احكي برواء ، ياريتوا بقرأ بلوجي ، انا عنجد اسفة اذا غلطت بحقك

رح اتذكر كمان قصص و برجعلكم المرّة الجاي :)

اليوم طلعت شوي مع اصحابي و روَحنا بكير ، قمت قررت اخد جولة عالكورنيش بالسيارة ، اسمه الجو حلو و منه هيك بسرح شوي مع حالي

حسيت حالي فكرت و سرحت زيادة عن اللزوم لدرجة اني ما كنت منتبهة انه مرء 40 دقيقة و انا ماشية و مش مشغلة أغاني ابدا !! و بعدها ما شغلتوا لاني كنت مرتاحة بالوضع اللي انا فيه .

اكتشفت ارمات اول مرة بنتبهلها و كتير اشياء انا بشوفها بشكل يومي بس ما بقرأها منيح او ما بهمني محتواها و بعدها اجت مرحلة "طب ليش"

عنوان قرأته على بوست من بنت فلسطينية عايشة بالأردن كاتبته عالفيسبوك ، عم تحكي فيه كيف انه في كتير شباب مناح و كويسين حواليها بس يا خسارة مش زيها او مش فلسطينيين.

فكرت انه لحالي عندي هالمشكلة لأني عايشة برة الأردن ، بس طلع حتى اللي فالأردن نفسهم بعانوا منها ،ما بعرف لأي مدى ممكن تكون مشكلة وجود حدا بحياتي غير جنسيتي ، لما كنت بالجامعة و عايشة بعمّان كانت شلتنا و معارفي و قرايبي و محيطي كله فلسطينية و افكر انه لااا مستحيل اخذ واحد الا يكون فلسطيني.

بس لما اجيت على قطر و تعرفت على جنسيات تانية ، اكتشفت انه ممكن يكون لبناني ، سوري ، مصري , مغربي أو بالأبسط مش فلسطيني بس هات اللي يقتنع اذا رجعت فيه على عمّان في يوم من الايام . ما اسمع الف تعليق و الف كلمة و كيف تركتي اهلك و بلا بلا بلا

اكتر اشي بعجبني بالاجانب انهم فليكسيبل ، ما بهمهم الا الشخص و مين هو ، لا ابن ابصر مين ولا عايش بأي حارة ولا شو جنسيته.

و بقلك ليش العرب متخلفين !!!

جاي عبالي احكي ، كتير في اشياء براسي عن الشغل ، عن العمل الاجتماعي ، عنه و عن وضعي هادا الاسبوع

صارلي فترة حاقدة علي شغلي و مش طايقته ، بالذات لما اتطلع عللي بعمري شو صاروا و انا لساتني بأول الطريق ، أو انه صارلي 3 سنين متخرجة و لساتني مش عارفة شو بدي !!!

عن العمل التطوعي و الاجتماعي ، هادا الاسبوع حضرت ورشة عمل لطلاب من عمر 14-20 سنة ، مش معقول شو انه هالجيل واعي على اشياء ،و عندهم افكار و مبدعين ، تمنيت انه كنت متلهم او اني شاركت بهيك اشياء من و انا بعمرهم ، بس برجه و بقول "اتس نيفر توو ليت" :)

اليوم حكيت معه ، صارلنا فترة ما حكينا ، بس بحجة انه اللي ساكن معه اتوفى اخوه و ما عم برد على موبايله و انا بدي اطمن عليه ، ما بعرف اذا هي حجة او شو ، بالظبط حكينا 3 دقايق ، لما سالني" المهم انتي كيفك ؟" قلتلوا "منيحة" و سكتت ، بالعادة كنت احكيلوا مشتاقتلك اد الدنيا !!! بس خلص ، ما ضل عندي نفس !!

بعدها على طول قلتله "ماشي سلم على حازم و انا برجع بحكيه" حسيت انه ما لازم المكالمة تتعدى المطلوب...

كتير تعبت هادا الاسبوع ، كان في كتير شغلات لازم اعملها و اجري صاروا يوجعوني من السواقة و لسا الاسبوع ما خلص !!!

Mohammed Ezz my Egyptian friend (whom i met in morocco forum ) was very excited to come to qatar on April , me and him were counting the days on facebook , prepared myself and took a day of to tour him around Doha and couldnt wait till the day comes.

he's coming to give a session , more of a workshop to students aged 14-24 years old about Blogging as he's a blogger himself ,and how it might do a change in our life.

through my work , the charity and activities manager in VF sent me an email of a workshop happening in qatar this weekend and when i read the email it sounded familiar to me , i immediately checked the program that Ezz sent me and taraaaaaaa we are taking part for the same workshops but in different positions !!

اليوم كان عندي اول حصة لإنجاز ، اللي ما بعرفها هي شركة تطوعية غير ربحية بتعطي دروس لطلاب المدارس من عمر 13 -16 سنة عن الحياة العملية ، هم بيعطوا المادة و المتطوع عليه يشرحها خلال 8 اسابيع بمعدل ساعة اسبوعياً

المهم بالنسبة الي تجربة التدريس و ادخل على صف مدرسي هو خبرة جديدة بحد ذاتها ، كتير غريب الشعور انه اقعد مع بنات اصغر مني ب6 او 7 سنين بس ممكن تحسهم انه بفهموا عليك.

المادة اللي بدرسها هي "كيف اكون قيادياً " حسيت انه و انا بحضر المادة كمان عم بتعلم معهم لانه اشي جديد و مبسَط.

اما بالنسبة للطالبات فأنا اول ما دخلت قلتلهم انا ما بحب التدريس و بدكم تساعدوني ، و حسيت حالي للحظة اني عم بحكي كتيير و نوعاً ما زهقتهم معي لانه هدوئهد كان مش طبيعي !! او يمكن انه مش متعودة عالموضوع لسة .

اكتر اشي حبيته انه و انا بنص الحكي رن الجرس ، فأنابحكي يللا بنكل المرة الحاي ، بنتين او 3 حكوا لأ مس كملي هلأ بقلهم لأ عندكم خصة قالولي لأ عنا فرصة كمّلي بس انا ما حبيت اكمل لانه ممكن في جزء تاني ما بده ، بس حبيت فكرة انه ما زهقوا مني :)

صارلي فترة جاي عبالي اقرأ كتاب بس مش عارفة شو ، انا من النوع اللي بحب اقرأ كتاب معروف او يكون "اكثر مبيعاً" لأنه اكتر من مرة اتمقلب بكتب ما حدا بعرف عنها اشي !!

المهم امبارح ما كان في عندي اشي ، حملت حالي و رحت على جرير "ليست مجرد مكتبة" و مشيت بين هالكتب ، طبعا انا نفسي من زمان اقرا كتاب the alchimst و دايما بفتش عليه بفيرجن ميجا ستور ما بلاقيه ، المهم لاقيته امبارح و معه المجموعة الكاملة ، بس انا عندي منهم كتابين فبس اشيريت الكتاب لحاله , سعره 52 ريال يعني ما يعادل 10 دنانير اردنية ، والله سعره منيح مش عارفة ليش الناس ما بتقرأ !!!

المهم ضليتني ماشية بصف كتب الانجليوي ، لقيت في كتير كتب "الاكثر مبيعا" و شكلها انترستنغ تو رييد !! بس خفت اشتري اشي و اكسل اقراه بس قررت ارجعلهم ز

خلصت من قسم الانجليزي و قلت باخد جولة بالعربي ، ولا اشي معروف ولا في قائمة الاكثر مبيعا ولا حتى مرتبينهم حسب الكاتب كمان !!! والله عيب ، الواحد ببطل اله نفس يقرأ !!

لاحظت انه اسم أحلام مش موجود ابدا ، كنت عم بفتش على كتابها "نسيان.كوم" حدا من اصدقائي نصحني فيه ، علاجا لحالتي بس رحت سألت المسؤول عن الكتب هناك قاللي ما عنا احلام قلتله يعني خلصت ؟ قاللي لأ عمرنا ما جبنا كتب الها !!! صح غريب ؟؟

المهم نزلت عالكاشير و انا بحكي بعقلي "ليست مجرد مكتبة" !!! و انا كللي دهشة من اللي شفته جوا ...

هي بتكون اخت امي اللزم ، امبارح تزكرتها كتير و هلأ بتعرفوا ليش اجا عبالي احكيلكم عنها

خالتي من اقوى النساء اللي عرفتهم بحياتي ، بحس حياتها كلها مغامرات و قصص شيقة ، هي كانت اول امراة بالاردن بتسوق شاحنة معها كل انواع رخص السواقة و مرَة عملوا معها مقابلة عالتلفزيون بالتمنينات عشان هالموضوع.

دايما بتذكر من و نحنا صغار كنا نخاف منها احتراما بس بنحبها كتير و بنحب نسمع قصصها ، كانت تعليقاتها على اي اشي فعَالة و قوية بس من باب الصراحة و تحسين الشيء للأفضل .

من خمس سنين تقريباً تعبت الخالة شفيقة و دخلت عالمستشفى تعمل عملية و نحنا خفنا عليها لانها حتى و هي مريضة ما كانت تحب تبين اشي او تعب ، بس هالمرة الموضوع جدي و في عملية و مستشفى ، رحنا نزورها كانت نايمة و صوت نفسها بدل على تعبها ، كانت اول مرة احس بضعفها ، كنت بجامعة سنة تانية حسب ما بتزكر ، بس نفسيا اول ما شفتها هيك ضليت صفنانة فيها مش قادرة استوعب ، و بلشت ادمع

المهم فاقت و بلشنا نحكي معها و هي يادوب قادرة تحكي ، بعدين قالتلي امشي معي عالحمام (كوني كنت اصغر القاعدين ) بلشت تسند علي و على ابنها و تمشي شوي شوي انا هون فرطت و ما قدرت امسك حالي من العياط ، صارت هي تضحك و تقلي بس هبل و من هالحكي ، عرفنا بعدها انه معها سرطان بعيدن عنكم ، اله معها 10 سنين بس كانه بلش ورم حميد بعدين صار سرطان ، مش كتير فهمت القصة .

المهم صارت خالتي كل فترة و فترة تدخل المستشفى و من عملية للتانية و كل مرة ينجح اشي و يتغير اشي تاني ، بعدها بسنتين قررت تطلع حج لأنها كانت خايفة لا سمح الله ما تكمل و تضل بنفسها ، يالله شو انها رهيبة هالبني ادمة ، الله يحميها عنجد ، بعدها بشوي جوزت ابنها ، و كانت بعرسه ترقص مع الصبايا نقلها اقعدي تقول ما بدي هادا اخر ولد و بدي افرح فيه ، و كنا بس نروح عندها ما ترضى الا هي تضَيف و تقوم و تروح و تيجي ، تصير تحكي انا المريضة مش انتوا و بعرف حالي منيح !!!

من جديد بس و يمكن من شهرين عرفنا انه المرض خف كتيير و في اورام عم تختفي نهائيا من جسمها ، سبحان الله كنت دايما اسمع انه المرض نفسية و خصوصا السرطان ، بس جد هي كانت اقوى من المرض و اتحدت كل اشي ...

.اللي ذكرني بالقصة انه انا دايما بحس حالي تعبانة و ما الي نفس اعمل اشي ، و حسيت حالي اديش سخيفة بس اتزكرت هالانسانة الجبًارة

الله يحميها و يشفي مرضانا اجمعين.

هادا الموضوع مش بس بمرء بشكل يومي ، بس ممكن تحكوا ساعي !! كل ما احكي كلمة ، عقبال ما نفرح فيكي يا دانا ، ما في هيك ولا هيك ؟ طب ما في حدا معاكي بالشغل ؟ صحاب العيلة ؟؟ و الأسئل’ و الأدعية ما بتخلص ، يا جماعة ايش في ؟ كل عمري 24 سنة !! لسة ما عنست و بصراحة الموضوع مش خاطر ببالي طول ما انا عايشة بقطر و مبسوطة كتير واصلا الاردنيين هون شبه منقرضيين !! أحسن ...

سفر ، اجازات ,، بلاد جديدة

كتير هادا الموضوع صاير يشغل تفكيري ، عندي 30 يوم عمل اجازة يعني بطلعوا 6 اسابيع غير الاعياد و الويك اندز ، فصار عندي اهتمام اشوف و اكتشف و بصراحة عمّان بطلت من الاماكن المفضلة لأقضي اجازتي فيها و هلأ بحكي ليش.

الشغل

برضه ضايعة فيه ، مرات بحبه كتير و بيجي عبالي اضل في الشركة لنرجع على عمان ، بس انا صارلي سنة كاملة و شهر لهلأ ما تطورت مع العلم انه فريقنا من اوائل الناس بالشركة ، لما اجي بدي اقدم على شغل تاني بضل مترددة و خايفة اترك الشركة بالوقت الغلط !!

عمان و الاجازات

صايرة نفسيا انكد بس ما الاقي مكان اسافره و اضطر اخذ اجازتي و انزل على عمان بس عشان اخلص ايام الاجازات بالغصب ، مش لاشي بس عم بنزل بنكد اكتر من ما انبسط ، كل حدا بشكي و كل حدا مفلس! و كل حدا بده اعزمه ما انا جاي من الخليج و زي ما بتعرفوا انه عم بنلم الفلوس من الشارع بالخليج !!!

و صايرة عقلية الناس محدودة او ما بعرف يمكن لأني بقابل الف جنسية باليوم تغير كل تفكيري و يمكن اللي ساكنيين برّة بوافقوني الرأي و مش عارفة كيف لما ارجع اعيش هناك ، انشااله اقدر اتقلم ...

Going to Chicago and Texas - A Small trip to the USA

Took the visa , booked the ticket and flied to amman for my original destination at the begning , stayed there for 18 hours and in december 25th i flied off to Chicago ...

The plane was full so no place to sleep more than your own chair which i can hardly do with my EXTRA tall legs !! 14 hours of flying , non sleeping AT ALL , so staying awake and drinking coffe was the solution.

when i arrived the airport everything went smooth , regular questions as the interview ,then i went to pick up my bag since i have a connection flight to San antonio / Texas , the bags took time more than expected so i missed my flight , the closest one was the next day same timing , my sister called our relatives there to come and pick me up from the airport , i was so shy cause i barely know them and we see them like once in 10 years lol !!

when i arrived their home , i slept like i never did , and woke up the next day and seen the heavy snow , we called the airport and they said all flights were cancelled and the next flight to catch was after 2 days !!

we didnt do lot's of stuff in Chicago since it was snowing the whole time , but my relatives showed me around the place in the car , went to the movies and then to the mall.

the 2 days passed quickly and i finally flied to texas , but guess what !! i lost my bag !! the good thing was that we recived it the same day after 6 hours :) yes thats america , systemized in everything same like the arab world no difference at all !!

texas was great , i really had fun , i fell inlove with the american people , so kind and lovely , they say sorry and excuse for anything and everything and they really care !!

Here comes the best part , i contacted Noura , THE BLOGGER and we chatted for like 20-30 minutes since she wasnt at her place at that time , noura sry but i have to mention the whole story ;)

it was 9 in the morning , and my sister came to wake me up saying "dana telephone bazon noura" , i was shocked happy and excited , then her voice came "sho ba3dik ma w3eeti yallah 2omi sho 3m tistani" loool i really miss that conversation girl !! we talked about everything as if we know each other from ages , then she called me again to say bye , noura i really liked our small conversation and like to talk more about other stuff like we agreed ;)

last but not least everything was easy and simple , checking in and out procedures werent bad at all and i never felt weird because am an arab !

USA am coming back soon inshallah , wait for me ... :)

How it all started - a small trip to the USA ..

It all happened quickly and unpredictable , i had 3 weeks vacation (it was a must to finish them before the end of the year) i thought , Amman ? am getting bored of it and 3 weeks is way too much to handle !! hmm lets think , i called my friend in Palestine and begged her to come to Jordan she said also 3 weeks is too much but suggested the states - as my sister lives there - i laughed alot and said naaa visa issues tickets i cant afford all that and ready for it !!

Secretly and without anyone's knowledge i did it , applied online took the picture , bank account and booked for the interview in the embassy , it all happened within less than a week and Wednesday was the day , didn't want to wake up cause i thought it's hopeless for a single female to get the visa but my mom said yallah u have to go !!

i met a syrian lady in the embassy , she was soo excited unlike me - so sleepy and faithless - she was soo scared and wants to get the visa in any way since she wants to meet her future parents in-low , we made jokes and talked about everything , her number was before me and suddenly she came back smiling " ma 3atooni eyaha" and left ! i was thinking "and so am i " a couple of numbers came then mine .

quick and simple questions , my main reason to visit the states is for shopping as i mentioned and to visit my sister , the agent was so serious at the beginning but at the time i said shopping and touring around he smiled and went on asking me about my job and family :)

handed me the paper and said "Dana you can get your passport on sunday " !! i wasnt really sure if i got the visa or not but i felt that things went ok , i asked a friend he said "wallah tli3ti ashtar mini akeed akhadeteeha if there was no rejection letter" and so i did .

The very next moment all qatar knew i got the visa and flying to the states the week after , weird questions , and things to bring from there but i got really excited and just want to leave to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA !!

بعرف انه انا متأخرة عن هالموضوع تقريبا اسبوعين او قريب الشهر ، بس الفترة الماضية كنت باجازة و هلا رح احكي عنها اكتر

كيف كانت معكم سنة 2009 ؟؟ بالنسبة الي كانت مش طبيعية ، كتير احداث حلوة و تغييرات يمكن جذرية و اثرت فيي كتير عنجد

ما بتذكر مرق علي شهر صعب او بدايق لانه اللي بعده دغري بتعوض بسفرة برة او نشاط ببسطني ...

بسنة 2009 زرت 4 بلدان ب3 قارات , مصر و المغرب بأفريقيا ، لبنان بآسيا و ختمتها بأميركا على اخر اسبوع منها

بهاي السنة تعرفت عليه اكتر ، حبيته ، كرهته , تخانقنا كتير و بالآخر اتفقنا نفترق بس و نحنا صحاب و عقلنا كبير !!!

تعرفت كتير على ناس ، سواء عن طريق الشغل الجديد او حتى من خلال سفراتي

عنجد ما بعرف شو بدي اكتب عنها اد ما حبيتها ، كل اشي كان اله ذكرى حتى الزعل و الصراخ و العياط كان غير شكل

يا رب تكون سنة 2010 خير علينا و على الجميع ، تكون حستاتها اضعاف سيئاتها

يا رب اهديهم و صبرهم و عافيهم ...

و كل عام و انتوا بألف خير

I dont know what to say , from where to start and how to describe my feelings !!! am soo amazed happy and sad at the same time , let's start from the minute i left Qatar .. :)

10 hours flying from Doha to Casablanca airport , very tiring for me since it was my first "long Distance " flight , non sleeping and headache the whole time but it was worth it .

with "bonjour , ca va ? labas ? " i started my morning in Casablanca airport , everything in french , and with my little knowledge of it i could manage a bit , it took me a while to find my bag and the airport was really crowded and i was almost dying from all this !!! the minute i stepped to the arrivals door i couldn't see anyone holding my name which i was afraid of , until i walked till the end there was an old guy holding the "forum's " name i attended ... :)

3 hours from the airport to Asilah driving , my excitement died !! and i lost attention of anything , i barely took pictures of the road and couldn't speack with the driver since his "classic" arabic was poor but tried hardly to understand his Moroccan accent .. !!

once i arrived the hotel it was more like a village next to the sea , they gave me a sea view room which i fallen in love with the minute i arrived :D , it was lunch time and they told me that the group is on their way .

i went down to meet everyone , i only knew 2 guys from the organizers and for my surprise they were busy and didnt come for lunch :( so a guy asked me where i would like to sit , and i squeezed myself with a Moroccan group , who were amazing but still couldn't understand a word !!

according to the schedule after that we were supposed to go to the library where the work groups should meet , and my mission should start from there , i picked a group where i saw a name i recognized from a friend and he was Jordanian as well ;) , then after that i met some people from my work groups who were really nice and we even went together to see a Moroccan house , my first day was almost over when they suggested to have Moroccan tea , but i couldn't manage to complete the night and dinner since i was fainting and fully exhausted !!!

up till now i was feeling horrible , what brought me to this place and why am i doing this !! i couldn't really cope with the people yet and am already sitting alone in my room :( , i went to sleep waiting for more of the next day ...

it was breakfast , i went down to find an Egyptian lady sitting by herself , food wasn't served yet , so i went for a walk on the sea side , then i came back and sat alone on one of the tables , a Sudanese guy came and sat with me , very kind , talked to me as if he knows me since a long time ago and telling me all about the forum and what usually happens , he told me that i missed last night's party "which i didn't know about and i still regret not being there when i see their pictures " , off to the library and then to the meeting rooms i started to know people more and more , and had the intention to introduce myself .

in lunch time our table was crowded even everyone noticed that , i was really happy , at least i can talk to people and started to have fun from that point , i finally felt comfortable , at night there was a traditional party , where everyone should represent his country , i was wearing the Palestinian scarf , i got lot's of comments on that and was soo happy and proud of it :)

2 days left , we went to tangier the next day , 5 hours of great time , people i didn't know took really good care of me and a cute guy gave me his jacket when i felt cold ;) , i will never forget that night , our group of nine people missed the bus , and started running in the street to catch it !!!

the last day came :( , we didn't want to leave each other , we used to spend almost 24 hrs togather from breakfast till late parties at night , but the moment came , and we had to leave all back home , with tears , emails swapping and facebook id's .

the next morning i had to leave to casa since my friend from work lives next to it and i wanted to spend my last day in morocco there , attended the train for 5 hours which was really a new experience for me and it was amazing .

nothing interesting happened next , touring in busy street of Casablanca and missing the group of Asilah .

Hashem , Kamilia , Hazem , Roa'a , Ahmad , Mariam , Motaz , Amr , Sara , Amineh , Hanan and all my friends who made morocco a better place to spend a good time with .

Tonight am heading to Morocco inshallah , i will face a new experiance going to meet new people and have the time to relax for a while in the moroccan bath ;)

i wanted to keep a diary of my feelings before going there so i can read it after i come back and see how i was thinking of it.

it's a forum am attending for youth and migration , 140 arabs and european will be under the same hall roof , sponserd by King Mohammed VI himself and lot's of "big heads" will attend as well.

for me it's the first time to go to such an event , and what made me more confused that most of the participants are used to it and know each other but not me !! i only know the coordinator and his friend whom ofcourse won't be soo free to be with me the whole time..

at last i wish it will be peacefull trip , fun and full of new adventures.

the first 3 chapters were really boring , but on my way amman i couldnt find a book to read but this, which was on my disk .

i thought i would give it another try , and here i am in Chapter 12 getting excited to know more.

such books gives you new knowledge about a new country , life that no one lived before and new adventure .

أنا عربية ساكنة بقطر اللي هو المفروض كمان بلد عربي ، بس بحوي تقريبا 80 جنسية منها العربية والأجنبية . غير هيك شركتي " فودافون " بريطانية و بشتغلوا معي حوالي ال 60 جنسية ، هلأ بلا ما ازهئكم بالأرقام و خليني ادخل بالموضوع على طول.

، هلأ اشي عادي انه زميل يعجب بزميلته في الشغل و اشي اكتر من عادي قطر يكون من جنسية تانية وهون بتبدا المشكلة اذا بالغلط حبوا بعض هادا كمان اذا كان عربي نص مصيبة ، كيف لو كان اجنبي ، يا حبيبي راحت عليهم !!!

طيب اجنبي و امنا ، عادات و تقاليد غير ، بس شو المشكلة لما يكون عربي ، عالقليلة عنا نفس العقلية و الدين و الحياة , بس ادام المجتمع هادا من جنسية تانية ، طب وين المشكلة مش عم بفهم .

المفروض الواحد لما يلاقي نصه التاني ، يكون بفهمه و بفهم طريقة تفكيره و هادا كله ما الو دخل بالجنسية ، صراحة مش عارفة شو احكي بس انه بدكم تعيشوا ببلد في الف جنسية بدكم تستحملوا العواقب.

"UPDATE"

I got this cake through email from Noura ;) thanks hon ...

Before yesterday was my birthday september 29th , this week was the hardest, lost of work depression and pressure, some arguments with friends and mom is away in Amman!!!

Ok that's not dala3, but I guess sometimes when all problems come at once u will suddenly BLOW!!!

so it started with a 3eedieh from dad stickled to my room door , so when I opened it the money popped into my face :) , then I got this amazing call from sisters and mom back in Jordan all singing "where I couldn't identify who's who !!! " and then off to work ...

I was planning that day to leave early , its my birthday and I need to relax , so my boss called me at the early morning to greet me so I asked him about leaving , he said he'll call me within a minute , a couple of minutes passed then he ranged again saying that he was sorry that I cant leave early since we have a training and all the team should be there , but he promised once we finish it I will leave " I was really angry cause I always knew about those NEVER ENDING trainings " so I gave up ...

then the manager came and I asked him what time are we going to take this training "which means when I can leave ?? " he said ohh Dana the system is not working properly so no training for today , and then I stood silent and I wanted to punch him in the face !!!

I was doing some work on the PC when suddenly 2 of my best friends in Qatar came in with a cake and started singing!!! For a while I was confused, didn't know how to express my feelings and what brought them here!!! It was one of the unbelievable moments!!!

I really stayed in shock for a while and still couldn't believe that they are really here in my work place!!! I knew after that my friend was making the entire training story with the manager so I would stay longer till them come!!!

But it was a happy moment after all the depression and work pressure; I really needed something like that...

The past 2 weeks , my sister and her 9 months old son was visiting us in Qatar , i wouldn't say i tried mother hood with the total standards but i tried some stuff which made me step back and think twice of getting married and raising babies of my own .

The three of us used to share the same room , and since me and my sister look alike he used to come every morning starts to hug me and put his head on my shoulder and stomach thinking that am his mom , ya 7aram then he wakes up to realize his mistake and starts crying loool

we used to wake up at 3 Am, 6 Am and before leaving to work playing for a while since mommy would be asleep .. :)

i used to come back from work to find the greatest smile waiting for me behind the door , or trying to run away from me if i tried to chase him while crawling fast lool

the day they left , the house seemed like a haunted place . soo quite , only me mom and dad , even mom was not in the mood to do anything , it wasn't easy on all of us at all ...

again , am starting to think twice about the idea of being a mommy one day , changing aweful smelly diapers , waking up at night and stay awake for hours just for a tiny person , and finally shouting all the time to stop them from messing the place around.

Yousef we miss u alot ..

أول اشي هذا البوست اهداء لنورا

وأخيرًا زبطت ورحت على بيروت كانت الرحله قصيره بس عالقليله شفت لبنان الاخضر :D

...مرقنا على جعتة , قصر موسى , جونية, ركبنا التيلفرك ودخلنا على مغارة جعتة اللي كانت بلنسبه الي حلم وتحقق

في واحد من اصحابي مسلم شيعة , بس مرانا على ضريح الحريري ولا بيحكي " ليك العالم لسة عم يقروا الفاتحة على روحه , لك خلاص مات وشبع موت

....طبعا أنا انصدمت لانه كنت ناويه اقوله إنه يوقف عشان اقرا الفاتحة على روحه , فسكتت ورحت تاني يوم لحالي

!!! في شارع اسمه الجميزه كله وعلى طول الشارعين بارات وكلبات , أنا كنت دايما أسمع في من لا يمل بس ماتوقعته هيك

المهم كانت زيارة خفيفه لطيفه , نورا ماتزعلي مني بس ماحبيت شعبها كتير مع إنه معظم اصحابي بالدوحة لبنانيين بس مابعرف فيهم شفت حال ببلدهم غريبه

بس جد للحظة حسيت حالي ببلاد مش عربي من لبس وسهرات وحتى خضار وشوارع , بس أهم اشي مادلت بنفسي وهي شطبنا كمان بلد من القائمه

i started writing this post in Arabic since my English is becoming soo bad lately :) but don't know wuts wrong with my browser !! ma fee wala kilmeh rakbeh 3l-tanieh w el-post looked weird ..

anyways I've been reading lots of blogs lately without commenting , laughing getting upset and remembering Amman ALOT ...

i felt myself lifeless , always i have nothing important to write about even people stopped reading my blog because it's kinda boring ..

a while ago one of my friends came to Qatar on a business trip , he works in the UN and of course he knows lots of facts and numbers about Doha more than i do with the 11 years living here , i felt myself a 5th grader girl with his Huge amount of info , and my clueless points about it ...!!!

i always wanted to know more to have challenges in my life , whenever i don't like anything about job i simply resign cause i always think that am a girl and i don't need money or career for my future life !!!

when i first started working in Vodafone "my current company" it was full of nationality 60 to be exact and most of them has different situations and adventures in their lives but not me , i didn't even find anything interesting to talk about !!!

my wish now is to travel more , learn from friends and read as much as i can to be knowledgeable compared to my age and my mates ...

من فترة قليلة يعني شهر أو اقل ، كنا انا و بنت معي بالشغل عم نحكي عن الشباب و قصصهم ، المهم فيتقلي انه على فكرة انا شفت عالفيس بوك انك صاحبة اخت صاحبي ، فلانة الفلانية ، بقلها بس هادا كانت خطبته الشهر الماضي !!! بتقلي اه بعرف بس هو لسا بحكي معي لهلأ !!!

طبعاً انا دايما معروف عني انه ما ببين اني انصدمت ، بس حسيت حالي ضليت ابو 5 دقليق عيوني ما سكروا من الصدمة ، كيف يعني خاطب و مصاحب بنفس الوقت !!! غريب

مرت فترة و كل يومين تلاتة تسألني عنه بحكم انه امه صاحبة امي كمان ، و حسب ما انا بعرف انه خطيبته كانت صاحبته منذ الأزل ، طب كيف يعني ؟! ؟! ولا ماما بتقلي كتير بتخانقوا هلأ و قايل لصاحبتي "اللي هي صاحبته" انه هو ما بطيقها بس هي اللي ضلت تضغط عليه مع العلم انه التنين اعمارهم 30 يعني واعيين المفروض !!!

اجا العرس و العريس ضل يحكي مع صاحبتي لآخر اسبوع و هي ما ترد ، بتقلي حسيت انه مافي امل !!! عنجد بالله ؟! المهم رحت عالعرس ولا العريس قالب بووز اطول من يوم الجمعة و بس عم برقص مع امه و خواته و اهله و تاركها اعده عاللوج !!!

طول الوقت عم بفكر في العروس ، يابيي شو مسكينة ، او ما بعرف يمكن قوية لأنها اخدت اللي بدها اياه !!! بس برضه في اشي غلط ، عنجد كيف تفكيرهم و الحق على مين بالآخر ؟

In the past week i met 2 cute people , they don't mean anything to me and it was the first time to meet them , but i was really happy to see such people who live in our world ..

the first one was a sales man in a toys shop , me and my friend went to buy her nephew a gift , a Philippino guy helped us , he was really helpful and cute , it started when my friend went on singing with the kids songs they play in the shop , he liked how fun and active we were and went on asking us the usual questions , from we were and other stuff , i was really happy to know that he converted to Islam because he liked the rules , believes and traditions , he said that there was a city in Philippines where lots of Muslims are , and then started to read us some verses he memorized from Quran , i felt proud :)

after a couple of days , i met this cute Indonesian girl who works in a beauty saloon , and as for me i always "ato2 7anak" with them , so sh asked me about my nationality when i said Jordanian , she asked "Palestinian Jordanian or pure ? " i was really shocked , she said that she used to work in Zarqa "city in Jordan" for 3 years for Jordanian Palestinian family , her accent in arabic was amazing , i felt i was chatting with a friend , she knows all arab food , she loves tabbouleh mlookhieh and even dawali !!! and she says "hassa" looooooool

its really amazing to meet such people and to have them in your life :)

PS. my blog's 2nd anniversary was days ago ;)

2 weeks passed , i miss you .. :(

I've mentioned earlier that i joined a new company , and thank god i got rid of the night mare i was before in with VERY formal look .. !!!

Anyways i joined Vodafone 3 months ago , from day one i felt that happiness is not leaving my life or face .. !!! the team is amazing , over 24 nationalities are working in Qatar branch , lots of ideas and information we recieve per hour !!!

we call it A big world and u can jump in , worldiness is the word we use in everything to include everyone in the conversations , and ofourse we all speak English but trying to teach the staff some arabic ;) starting with soo jordanian ones such as "3la rasi , min 3yooni " and soo on , although we are only 2 Jordanian girls , me and my very best friend but still we are effective :)

when i saw the google company video i started comparing it with Vodafone , and i almost couldnt find any difference , the CEO is one of most amazing ones , soo down to earth , jeans lovers and he even made a new era in the offices where u can sit whereever u want next to a different person everyday !!!

Vodafone even its still 3 months but i already fell inlove with you .. :)

i know its been a very long time , but i started to feel bored from writing about me , plus there is nothing interesting happenning around till i've been to egypt for 4 days only.

one of the amazing trips i made , suddenly our work (which i have to write another post about it) gave us 2 days off , and it was a good opportunity for me to checkout new cultures , when one of my friends went on a leave to her own country Egypt.

I felt myself as if i was in a movie , everyone around me is speaking Egyption accent , it was sooo funny and amazing at the same time , i always used to read najeeb mahfouz and yousef el-sib3ai , so i was really excited to see the things i read already and seen in movies .

From el-ma3adi to Zamalik , Nile river to the pyramids and soo on .

i believe 4 days arent enough but at least i've done something fun ... :)

Hi all , remember me ?!
its been a long time , since this year i stopped writing about myself or at least a usefull subject , although i wasnt that active blogger but i used to write, read and comment ...

since the begining of 2009 i've been a bit busy , been to Jordan TWICE , yes 2 times once in January and another in February but am not planning to go in March cause i entered the phase of boredon from a city called Amman , during 1 yr and a half i've been there 6 times !!! am even living in Amman now more than Doha ...

During these 2 months i changed my current job "Again" to join a more well known company which is Vodafone , and till now am soo happy and amazed with the briliant ideas and plans they do for the team !!!

i deactivated my facebook today , just for a while ,cause i think that it brings me headache , since i removed my "Single" status , poeple thought i got engaged !!! when i put my pictures in some outing people thought i never knew how my house looks like or am not sitting at home like regular humans !! so i planned to deactivate it till some of them forget Dana and go talk about someone else till i come back .. lol

i suddenly rememberd that i have a blog that was Mahjoor and its been a long time since i didnt write or read anything of my bloggers list ...

so here i am ppl back on track with a small summary of what happend while i was away , i miss u all ..

I never knew that drama movies are good , or even indian ones , i heard about it and i tried to convince every single female in qatar to come with me and watch it , each one had a silly excuse ; ma ma3i masari , bala indian bala ham !!! i went crazy and i was like r7 a7daro y3ni r7 a7daro ...

i dont know how my broke friend finally ijaha el-faraj so we were off to the movie , i was soo excited although i was afraid yetla3 ma2lab , since i nagged alot ..

the movie was full of indians and a couple of arabs , my chair smelled like sweat , and here we started the movie of disgusting stuff ...

اول ما بدخل فيي عادة انه افتح الشباك و الشوفير كان يحكي بالموبايل "كالعادة دايما مشغولين اسمالله" قام سكره من عنده ، استنيت لخلص و رجعت فتحته ولا بحكي مع حاله : كانها الدنيا حريقة يعني

قامت حضرتي بفتح الشباك للآخر ...

بعدين اخذ طريق طويلة

قمت فتحت الباب و نطيت مع انه كان العداد واصل 70 قرش.

Was 2008 a Happy "New" Year for you? NOT for me...!!!

When I go back for a couple of months, I couldn't remember that something exciting or VERY happy happened in those 12 months, maybe a few but not many, even one of my friends call it (Two thousand and HATE) loll...

Unlike the year 2007 which was a great and full of achievements, 2008 was different!!

Let's check how horrible it was:

- Moved to a new "ugly" job and left my beloved friends
- A reality happened and still couldn't believe it till now!
- A great friend has left Doha to Lebanon for good.
- Got chocked from a lifetime friend.
- The crises that the Whole world witnessed and affected my job and company.
- Suffered from pain in the first surgery in my life.
And finally a good friend of mine got divorced!!

eish haaaaaaaaaaaaad !!!

On the other hand...
- Yousef has arrived safely.
- Spent unforgettable moments in my Beloved city 3 vacations in one year.
- knew great people who helped me to improve my personality and English language :)

That's it... lol
Hope these 12 remaining days pass safe and peaceful...

عين الباشا - أثار رفع رسوم أثمان القبور في مقبرة مخيم البقعة بنسبة 100% استياء لدى المواطنين الذين طالبوا بتخفيضها عوضا عن رفعها بهذه النسبة.وكان في السابق يتم استيفاء 25 دينارا عن القبر الواحد إلا أن دائرة الشؤون الفلسطينية رفعت هذا المبلغ إلى 50 دينارا وبنسبة 100%.وقال حسن عفانة من قاطني مخيم البقعة أن هذه الأسعار مرتفعة جدا حيث كان المتعهد يتقاضى 25 دينارا قبل أسبوع واحد وكان يجني أرباحا لأخذه العطاء على مدار السنوات الماضية.

Yousef is the first baby boy - grandchild- we have in our family,the reason why am going to jordan after 2 weeks.

I just cant wait to hold him, am hearing his voice crying whenever i call home :( , and for me he's the cutest baby i've ever seen in my entire life !!!

You dont want to see how 7ala and sama are happy with him and wanted to do everything as if they are old enough to take care of him :D

for me i was really busy most probably working and going shopping for my winter vacation to Jordan AGAIN (yaaay) , yes i am leaving on November 20th inshallah to spend 3 wks with the family this time, Eid el-ad7a is inclusive ... :)

For this year i got what i really needed , wanted and asked for , it was really great and amazing

The celebrations started in jordan the minute when Hani Mitwasi said "bidna ni7ki l-Dana kul saneh w inti salmeh" ;) till i recived the last Birthday msg today at 1:30 AM from my cousin in jordan :)

This book ...

It was on my disk , i wanted to give it to my friend since she's originally Lebanese but holds the Brazilian passport , she was leaving Doha for good ,and it suddenly happened between a day and night ..!!

i didnt have the chance to buy her a souvenir or a goodbye gift so i decided to give her this novel which i bought a couple of days before to read it myself ..

a client of mine saw that book and read the title and the novelist's name:" oh this is the first time i put my hands on such a book ", "well it sounds interesting and i read about it in one of my friend's blog" , "ohh great"," if u wanted i'll give it to you when i finish it or so"<-- i was planning to buy another copy for him .. time passed soo fast that day and i couldn't say bye to the great friend i had in Qatar, my very close friend whom i used to share with every detail in my life , i started reading it after she left the country and i was chocked by the story and said el-7amdellah i didn't give it to my client , I'll feel embarrassed to give him such a novel .. after all am enjoying reading it and whenever i open it i remember my great friend .. i miss you lanouche ...

Last week i was talking to my friend in jordan,we stayed over the phone like an hour and half , we laughed alot chatted about almost everything ..

this friend i met her in my first year in university , after 1 year i moved to another university ,bigger and more reputable university but stayed visitng them the whole time and even getting closer to everyone ..

we rememberd how me and her used to be well known in university as the tallest , social and most fun lol , i have to admit that no one regretted being our friend , we were loud and making a remark in every lecture we take togather , in one of our mutual lectures she used to sneeze in a particular time ,even some ppl used to look at their watches when she do so lol ..

we talked about how we are getting older day after day , 2 friends of ours got married , 1 engaged whose completing her masters , the other is pregnant and so on ... , although we are still talking to each other but still , i miss the old times when we always used to make fun activities go to Hashem for breakfast or KFC for a Fancy lunch ...

those were the days my lovely 10 female friends ...

Heey , i know its been a long time since i last wrote in my Blog , but my new job is really taking me from any regular life i can live !

since 3 weeks my traning started ,seeing ppl i've never knew i will meet ,reading articles that i never would read about and using phrases never excited in my dictionary ..

my new postion and company are really tiring , there's a dress code i had to read the date i joined , containng 13 pages of Do and Dont's , starting from nails ,shoes ,hair style , earings and includes wearing "Formal suites with jackets the whole time" <-- Shoooob , "Make up " <-- yuk ! ,and finally "high heels " <-- Haloo ,l2no na2isni tool ana !!

although i miss wearing jeans and casual cloths , but still i enjoy being special during the week days , plus asting professional while talking about real estate and the new buildings taking place in Doha .. hehe "as if"

nothing much to say about my job since its been only one month , and akeed el-5eir jay l-odam .. :)

P.S. did i mention that am the only arab in Doha Branch ... :(

wut did i benefit from blogging ?? well when i started writing i always heard about making money out of blogging , but i stopped i thought , writing your own diary and making lovely friends are more important than gaining a couple of Dollars ..

Leaving My Bayt ...

Don't panic or freak out from the title, my relationship with my parents and family is great, but today was my last day in my current Company "Bayt.com"...

this the great place where i worked for the past 6 months , it was my real bayt , we were like a family there ,each one of us was a brother or sister to the other and no one used to hate anyone else ,the best team I've worked with and will do all my life .

in Bayt i learned alot of things , other than team spirit ,i knew how to write formal letters , how to deal with bug heads , preparing job descriptions ,CVs and knowing too much information about alloooooooooot of people .. :P

I've spent this week crying , thinking and not imagining myself in another atmosphere ,specially when i met my new colleagues where all of them are GIRLS and foreign , and when i talk about foreigners it means that am the only Arab girl !!!

i will really miss my bayt , but hopefully will keep in touch with my old friends ..

نهض من نومه مسرعاً وترك غرفة نومه الايطاليه وذهب الى الحمام التركيوأستحم بالصابون اللبناني لبس بسرعه فانيلته المصنوعه من القطن المصري ثملبس ثوبه الكوري و كاد ان ينسى لبس ساعته السويسريه وخاتمه الذي أتاه هديه من جنوب افريقيا ثم اتت خادمته الفلبينيه وناولته شماغه الانجليزيثم مشى متبختراً على السجاد الايراني حتى وصل الى غرفه الطعام التيأشتراها من بلجيكا ثم ناولته زوجته كوب شاي سيلاني وضع فيه مكعبي سكر منالسكر السوداني ثم أخذ لقمه صغيره من الجبنه الدانماركيه الموضوعه على طبق الصيني ..ـطلب من زوجته الروسيه فنجان قهوه ممزوج بالزعفران الاسبانيقامت زوجته الروسيه وهي تلبس الجلابيه المغربيه المشهوره واتت له بالقهوهالمصنوعه من البن الحبشي فهو لايفضل البن البرازيلي... ثم وضعت عليهاقليلاً من الهيل الكيني في هذه اللحظه طلب سائقه الاندونوسي ليخرج لهسيارته الالمانيه من الكراج فسوف يقودها بنفسه اليوم قام مسرعاً وفتحالتلفزيون الياباني و اداره على القناه الهنديه ثم هب واقفاً بسرعه حتىكاد ان يلمس برأسه الثريا الباكستانيه طلب من الخادمه عمل الغداء اليوم من الرز الهندي الفاخرالممزوج بالتوابل الافريقيه وان تضع معه الحمصالسوري والتبوله اللبنانيه وطعميه مصري وزيت زيتون يوناني ذهب الى مكتبهالمصنوع من الخشب الماليزي وقبل ان يشرع بالعمل اتت له زوجته بالبخورالتايلندي وقالت له انتبه على نظارتك الفرنسيه من حراره البخورلملم اوراقه وملفاته ووضعها في حقيبته السويسريه ثم خرج من المنزل وركبالسياره الامريكيه بدلأ من السياره الالمانيه ثم انطلق مسرعاً ليلحقمحاضرة سوف يلقيها هو شخصياً بإسم:" فلندعم الصـناعة الوطنية"

The week of Nationalities

i believe living in gulf has many advantages , one of them is meeting alot of nationalities other than ppl from your own country .

Well here was my week full of INTERNATIONAL outings..
I started it arguing and discussing things with my Philippino team captain ,asking me if i done my weekend task "to buy him the newspaper since our company ad takes place there only on Saturdays" at the same day a Lebanese training manager came to visit us from Dubai branch whom engaged to a Palestinian guy "ehem ehem"
Then going out the other day with my Indian co-worker to have sheesha and 3arayes b-la7meh, with my recipe of adding lemon slices inside the bread..

The day after dropping my Egyptian colleague to her home since her taxi didn't come and we started chatting and gossiping about stuff happening around, yesterday i spent it with my Lebanese friend going shopping then to the cinema where we really had fun...

Finally today i went out with my palestienian-jordanian family to do some shopping and sit together..

i really enjoyed my multi-national week ..

My Best Friend's Wedding ...

Of course am not talking about the movie here ,but my best friend herself ...

last week was full of ocassions and for sure am missing them all ,i had an engagment party ,2 days later a jaha and last thursday was the third ocassion am missing and probably the most important of them all ,My Best Friend's Wedding ...

1- Am taaaaaaaall and used to be skinny before i came to live in Qatar but still Sympatic ..

2-I enjoy talking in English , specially with arab ppl cause i dont want to go through stories that never ends ..

3- Am REALLY honest , i always start laughing if i was lying and it shows direct that am not saying the truth ..

4- I always enjoy anything includes IQ test,Sudoko or things related even if i dont complete them till the end .

5- Am very sensitive i almost cry on everything happens (which i really hate and its soo embarrassing )

I know that am one day late for the "BAJO" but couldnt see all bloggers write about it and me not sharing ,and as they say a little bit late better than never ..

I've always been that girl who will never imagine leaving JORDAN b-nas-ha w ahilha w the active life i was having there , but things changes w as they say "ta2ti el-reya7 bima la tashtahi el-sofon" and to be honest after leaving it now i know the real value of great Amman ...

I dont really have much to say , cant tell you really how much i miss the lousy summer nights we used to have , the kamkameh winter days and finally calm springs and winters ...

I will never forget the smell of my great university days , buses i used to take to get there , fairuz on Fanfm at early morning followed by "mohammed el-wakeel" with his famous laugh , and every mishwar comes 3l-saree3 when a friend calls me going to argeeleh coffe shops ..

ya3eeni 3la kul ishi feeki ya amman , i really miss that place and words cant describe my missings ...

Noura tagged me , and i've been a little bit late going through most of the blogs and see wut i can write about my 6 things to do before 18.

1- Braces ..

i really recommend wearing teeth braces before the age of 18 since u feel a childish and will never try to wear them afterwords.

2- Bad Habits ..

learning bad habits young will remain with you your whole life and one of these which i really hate is SMOKING ,i guess even if u learned it after 18 u will not be stick to it as much as u started earlier.

3- Good Habits ..

On the other hand learning good habits as praying "as Amjad mentioned before" and fasting the whole month of Ramadan is such a great thing to learn before the age of 18 to get used to it .

4- Working ..

have i ever mentioned before that i worked as a part time job before i joined the university ? as a birthday planner .. , well i really advice everyone to do that so Ur personality will definitely become stronger .

5- Live alone..

well i lived before and after the age of 18 with my sisters while my parents lived in Doha ,it was really a great stage in my life,u learn how to be responsible towards everything and take more care of urself .

I remember when i joined my company i was soo happy to use every and each site i want , but lately that became impossible to do, why ?? cause they are blocking sites and they only wants us to use the company's site as in work work work and do nothing else !!!!!

One of these BLOCKED sites is facebook ..!!!( of course ) Poor me , since am almost addicted to it and even contacting ppl though more than MSN , and now no chatting anymore !!! its really annoying , today we tried one of the proxy sites and it worked BUT as an interface only (shim w la tdo2 ) ino u cant add any applications, hard to view ur friends list and no msgs !!!

As i was telling my colleague at least u feel comfortable when u see the homepage . :D

Other sites are blocked too , i discovered today that youtube.com is also joining the list , common u r removing all the fun parts and keeping the boring stuff !!!

so plz Bloggers don't use youtube again in ur postings to let me at least have an idea wut ur topic is talking about ...
